Fidelis Awour Otieno joined Kairu & McCourt Advocates in 2023 bringing a unique blend of legal and psychological expertise. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Jomo Kenyatta University in 2017 and subsequently completed a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law in 2022. Fidelis further holds a Diploma in Counselling Psychology from the University of Nairobi, completed in 2019 and is a certified Mediator since 2016 courtesy of the Mediation Training Institute.
Fidelis is extensively involved in various aspects of legal practice, with a focus on Civil litigation, Arbitration, and Mediation.
In Civil Litigation she represents clients in a wide range of legal disputes. In mediation, she is adept at facilitating negotiations and resolving disputes amicably. With a background in both law and counselling psychology, Fidelis brings a unique perspective to mediation, enabling parties to find common ground and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Fidelis is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East African Law Society.
